A lower grade of Sencha but mixed with Matcha powder for a beautiful green tea taste. A favourite of many customers.
Standard grade made from younger leaves of the green tea plant for a smoother flavour. With the added puffed rice this Genmaicha has a stronger roasted taste than some of the others. A delicious tea. Genmaicha means ?Brown Rice Tea? or ?Roasted Rice Tea?. Genmaicha is a mix of Bancha and roasted rice which gives this tea a sweet and delicate flavour with a light green hue and a beautiful aroma from the roasted rice. This tea is often served in Japanese restaurants as it accompanies all foods perfectly.
