Genmaicha is the Japanese name for green tea combined with roasted brown rice.
Serve: 1 tsp (2 grams) to 1 cup of water
Water Temperature: 70°C -80°C (can be made by mixing boiling water with 20%-10% cold water)
Brewing: Pour the prepared water over the top of the leaves and let brew for 3 minutes.
2-3 infusions are possible with the same leaves.
When placing the tea into the pot, you can put extra rice in if desired. Or you can remove some of the rice whilst brewing for a lighter taste.
