Gyokuro - Double sealed tea caddy

This is our highest grade Gyokuro packaged in a reusuable double sealed Japanese tea caddy. Two lids to keep your tea extra fresh. Each tin comes with 90grams of Gyokuro.

Gyokuro is the highest grade of all Japanese green teas. The tea tree is shaded from direct sunlight for the last 20 days before the youngest and freshest leaves are picked. Removing direct sunlight in this way gives this tea its vivid green colour, smooth and fresh taste

Gyokuro has high levels of catechins, antioxidants and vitamin C. After the teas has been brewed you can eat the remaining leaves; they taste like a baby green vegetable. In eating the leaves you waste none of the health benefits this tea has to offer

Please Note - 1 tsp usually equals 1 gram of tea; so approximately 88 serves from 1 tea tin. Also the leaves can be reused several times after brewing once
